Krka

Krka river flows through the stone canyon of the karst area and its main trump is a beautiful waterfall Skradinski Buk, one of seven travertine waterfalls that attracts visitors not only for its beauty, but also for the possibility of summer bath. In such a spectacular scene of thousand droplets scuttling through the travertine barriers, you can enjoy baths nearby. Besides nature, Krka was also decorated by a man. A beautiful Franciscan monastery on Visovac, Krka minster in the upper course, the remains of a Roman military camp Burnum which could accommodate up to 6,000 soldiers, and a medieval fortress in prominent places from where the whole area has been observed, can also overwhelm you for its beauty. Along with the beauties on the surface, for those a bit more curious there is also an impressive underground world of around forty caves in the park area.

Plitvice

National Park Plitvice Lakes is difficult to describe in words but the truth is that something like that you had never seen before. Sixteen lakes of crystally clear blue water flowing into one another over many waterfalls in a series of more than five kilometers, with many tributaries, among which the impressive is the one of Plitvice River that joins to this water line over the Great Waterfall, whose impressive height is breathtaking. In the middle of the dense mountain forest of Plitvice lakes bordered by paths and meadows, you will want to visit at any season whether it's during the hot summer when the meadows along the edge of the lake are perfect for chilling, or the winter that covers the whole park by a white coat of snow and ice so the whole place looks like an enchanted castle of the Snow Queen.

Kornati

It seems that a goddess has broken away the necklace of stone pearls from her neck and remained scattered in the Adriatic Sea. It is only one of the poetic images that occur when looking at this unique archipelago that was proclaimed national park in 1980. Nearly one hundred islands and islets create a perfect labirinth for an easy boat cruise and enjoying the beauty of the stone, surrounded by the crystally clear sea. At a glance, a bit harsh landscape hides many beauties from the small churches where Holy Mass is still being held, over fishing houses hidden in the small port, to the wealth of wildlife because Kornati islands provide home to the greatest European eagle owl. The peace and solitude of the archipelago takes its visitors into a timeless world where every stress and concern disappears and only remains the deep connection between man and nature that anyone who finds himself in this magical area undoubtedly experiences.

Paklenica

Where the mountain meets the sea. Allowing you to go into the stone womb of Velebit and refreshment in the clear sea afterwards, sounds a bit like a fairytale. Paklenica is such a place. It reveals all the secrets of the mighty Velebit giving something to each of us, whether it's a slow walk by maintained trails or free climbing on one of the most attractive sites of its kind in Europe, Anića kuk. Hiking trails and maintained huts in the park are perfect for one-day and several -day trips during which you can come across mirila, a unique monuments to the dead which were made by local residents and that were visited more than graves themselves. The beauty of the tall, karst rocks that almost touch the nearby sea with untouched nature, make Paklenica attractive connection and a place worth of a constant visit and listening to its story.

Telaščica

This nature park is situated on Dugi Otok Island which on such a small surface offers a wide variety. Besides Telaščica bay, one of the safest and indented natural ports on the Adriatic coast, which has got five islets, there is a salt lake Mir of the increased salinity, a real Adriatic Dead Sea in a small. On the south side of the park the white cliffs vertically rise from the sea up to 85m depth what is breathtaking. This is a nautical paradise and the bait for all lovers of nature and its diversity. Interesting is an isle of Taljurić , flat and round, so it looks like a small plate in the middle of the sea, as well as the remains of a Roman villa rustica from the first century, the medieval church and the cave which lost its arch long time ago

Vrana Lake

This unusual combination of sweet and salty - because the water in the lake is brackish –is located at the very edge of the sea. For that reason, a less familiar passenger can be confused by the scene of seeing a big blue surface on both sides of the road. Geomorphologically, it is a karst field filled with water and the largest lake in Croatia. At a glance, a combination of unconnectable natural landscapes has resulted in an exceptionally rich flora and fauna. The diversity of birds makes this nature park an inevitable place on the mapf for every lover of the feathered kind. Bicycle and walking paths allow everyone to experience this special image of a pine forest, sedge and swamp close to the karst connection of the land and the sea. One can really be surprised by the beauty of this unusual part of the coast.

Šibenik

Šibenik is situated on the estuary of Krka River. This stone pearl developed from the early medieval fortress overwhelms by the beauty of steep and old stone streetswhere the life flows. It is a home to one of the most beautiful Renaissance cathedrals in the Adriatic, whose broad horizontal band is made of even 71 realistic portraits of its citizens. But the beauty of this place is not only in its harmonic carved stone and fortresses above. Besides a time machine into a harmonious Renaissance, Šibenik offers an excellent entertainment to its visitors as a host of many musical events that brought it a nickname City of festivals, best known is Terraneo. The visit to Sibenik will make you forget what does the word boredom means while experiencing the warmth and vibrancy of the summer and fun in the Adriatic.

Zadar

Proudly settled on a peninsula in the center of Dalmatia since the Roman times, Zadar remains a measure of beauty and grace. Its past is visible at every step through the streets and monuments from almost every period, but this does not mean that the city rests on its laurels. Modern and original installations have placed it at the very top of cities worth visiting whether you are here for an unusual and unique sound of the Sea Organ, or just want to greet the sun and enjoy walking in Kalelarga. It is a city that you will make you relax , enjoy and have fun at one of the many summer events, and at the same time experience the spirit of some old times. Feel the spirit of the Mediterranean while you back are protected by the mighty Velebit and the gentle views of Ugljan and Pašman island from the south, make the background to one of the most beautiful sunsets in which even the famous Hitchcock didn’t remain indifferent.

Biograd

A small town near Zadar is definitely not a sleepy place for leisure, though it is also one of the possibilities offered by the relaxed Mediterranean lifestyle. Strong nautical and tourist center, where the throng of local people connect with enthusiastic shouts of tourists during the summer. It had been the seat of Croatian kings before, and today its numerous monuments witness to a glorious past taking place on a small peninsula on which Biograd emerged today. It offers all the advantages of urban living and an active vacation, while allowing the direct contact with nature through the beautiful beaches and clear sea in the shade of pine trees.

Ugljan

Connected by the bridge to Pašman, Ugljan is its natural extension and that asphalt ribbon what makes it an inevitable destination for exploring the surrounding area. Situated opposite to Zadar, a dozen idyllic settlements skated on its slopes. Each settlement jealously works in preserving the formula of simple and fulfilling life. Having received its name from the Roman holder Gallius, the island maintained its reputation of pleasant to live since the ancient times. The northern part looks at the urban area of Zadar with its suburb, and in the surrounding streets of its settlements, offers to taste the authentic cuisine and participating in island events. The desolate southern half provides a perfect refuge for all those seeking peace, tranquility and research of mysterious bays and beautiful beaches.

Where we are?

Zadar archipelago is kept by a large number of islands. Pašman is one of them. It is situated only a few kilometers from the mainland and yet so close to the treasures of Kornati.
