Location and climate

Zadar archipelago is kept by a large number of islands. Pašman is one of them. It is situated only a few kilometers from the mainland and yet so close to the treasures of Kornati.

It extends in northwest-southeast direction and with its 64 km of length is one of the larger on the Adriatic coast. Its highest peak Bokolj, 274 meters high, offers a breathtaking view of the National Park Kornati in the south and Paklenica in the north, and we can easily see Vrana Lake Nature Park in the east.

Mediterranean climate makes Pašman perfect for living. Summers are pleasant and hot in the island, and there are over 2500 hours of sunshine per year, while the autumns are mild and windy, and in the winter the temperature rarely goes down below 10 C. Spring brings new life and the island again becomes green and blossom.
