Fire and ashes. Each Mrljane resident knows what follows. Those are groves that revive the old Semić on Christmas Eve, a hill that loomed over theplace. Semić is a place of stories where the cross protects all the people from the height but also a place for which Mrljane is worth a visit. The view on indented Pasman channel is priceless.
If you take a few feet to the foot of the hill you will reach the old stone houses. These are remains of the old settlement, which has moved to the sea edges over the last hundred years. A rural tourism is being developed here today, so the homemade tomato or cheese, are only some of the gastronomic delights.
At the very edge, where the sea meets the ground, the wisdom of the ancient Romans in the natural benefits of sea water and mud selfishly hiding the seabed, has been riddled. There are proves about ancient times, when the world suffered from the plague, and nature has shown its power of healing at this place.
Zadar archipelago is kept by a large number of islands. Pašman is one of them. It is situated only a few kilometers from the mainland and yet so close to the treasures of Kornati.
